==[[File:Clonebook.png]] [[Guide_to_genetics#Cloning|Genetic Cloning]]== This is one half of your job. Make sure you know how do it (and actually fucking do it). ===Early Ejection=== As of some recent changes, early ejections are now much more consequential than before. It can result in bodies: * without a heart * without limbs * which are blind * which are deaf * which are mute * which have Tourettes * with severe brain damage * with severe radiation poisoning * with severe cellular damage * which will die before they even reach cryo Not worth it. ===Genetic Backup=== You can take a scan off of someone while they're alive and create a genetic backup ready to be cloned in case they die. This is useful to those of especially high risk of an irretrievable death like the chief engineer or captain. If the scientists have upgraded the cloner, the console can be set to autoprocess, which means that you don't even have to leave your desk. # Bug people to get scanned at genetics while they're still alive. # Scan them. # Press the "clone" button under their records when they die.
