The kitchen is the highly visible and usually bloody spawn location and workplace of the [[Chef]]. It is located across the hall from [[Medbay]], adjacent to the Bar. It requires Kitchen access to enter.

It includes everything a chef needs to [[Guide_to_food_and_drinks#Microwave_Recipes|cook nothing but burgers for the hundredth time]], including a food processor, a blender, two microwaves, and plenty of table space. There is even a window that looks into [[Hydroponics]], so the [[Botanist]]s can supply you with ingredients directly if they don't use the smartfridge.

Then we have the freezer, which on the other hand is a dark and secluded area that houses the Gibber, a device the chef (and devious co-workers) uses to gib people. There is also a chem-master and an ice cream cart.

PubbyStation's kitchen is quite spacious, with plenty of counterspace for a [[chef]] to organize their ingredients. Direct adjacent access to [[hydroponics]] makes it easy to [[Beyond_the_impossible|<s>receive crops from the botanists</s>]] grow all the veggies and fruits you could need. The refrigerators are all located in the freezer room, and contain some extra goodies not commonly found on other maps, like roundstart potatoes.

Though the width of the front counter makes repelling kitchen invaders tricky, the shutters can be closed using a button on the south wall, and have as much crushing power as ever.
